To achieve our 2012 Campaign Goal ($2.8 million) we will need the community to:
GIVE — Give where you live! We need those who have not given in the past to help us now, even if only modestly. For those who have given in the past we are so grateful. If you can increase your gift it would be so very helpful. For those of you that have given so very generously in the past, we could not function without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
ADVOCATE –To spread the word about how we have been successful in the past and how we will be even more successful in the future.
VOLUNTEER — To become tutors and mentors. The Early Grade Reading program has a goal to recruit 600 tutors.
LIVE UNITED — We save lives and we do it in two different, but related ways. First, by providing year-round support to 44 talent-laden agencies, partnerships and services which then provide desperately needed basic needs, health and financial stabilizing services (sometimes life-saving) to our neighbors. Second, by embracing a monumental initiative to reduce high school dropout rates in Beaufort and Jasper counties by 50 percent, starting with a comprehensive Early Grade Reading program designed to ensure that 80 percent of fourth graders read on grade level.
