Operation Backpack

Operation Backpack is an initiative of United Way of the Lowcountry Women United, providing local students in need with backpacks full of school supplies and uniform shirts to start school.  Women United works with school guidance counselors to identify students who are not being served by other agencies.  This year, Operation Backpack has expanded and will serve more than 600+ students throughout Beaufort and Jasper Counties.

How can you help?  You can donate designated school supplies at one of the drop-0ff locations listed below or make a monetary donation online or by check.  (Monetary donations and gift cards for Walmart and Old Navy will be used to purchase size-specific uniform shirts and additional school supplies.)
