For all agencies who submitted an Intent To Submit, the Application phase within the CommunityForce software will open beginning July 1. While training is mandatory (for all agencies NOT currently receiving United Way funding), you DO NOT have to attend the training before you begin filling out the application. The below CommunityForce walk-through guide will help you navigate through the software so that you can begin working on your application immediately. Please go ahead and begin working on your application when you attend training so that we can answer any specific questions you might have.
Application Templates found within the software for use:
Organizations will have from July 1 through July 31 to complete the online application phase. All applicants (except those currently receiving United Way grants) must attend a mandatory training. Below you will find a recording of the training, which includes a comprehensive overview of the application process as well as a detailed description of the information requested within each individual component of the application. It also provides a step-by-step walk through of how to navigate all of the features you will need to complete your online submission with CommunityForce.

Work Sessions
After the two scheduled training sessions, you will be provided the opportunity to schedule a 25 minute, one-on-one work session to ask specific questions to increase the quality of your application. Remember, this is a competitive funding process and only the top scoring programs are placed on panels and are able to receive funding.
Session Dates:
You must RSVP for the work session(s) in advance by calling Angela Boswell at (843) 379-3063 to receive your zoom link and time. If you would prefer an in-person session, please let Angela know.
Organizations will have from June 1 until June 15 to complete the online “Intent To Submit” phase, which is required of ALL applicants.
All NEW applicants must attend a mandatory training. Click HERE to view a copy of the “Application” Powerpoint presentation for new applicants.
