Volunteers in Medicine Clinic (VIM Clinic) is a nonprofit medical clinic serving low-income and uninsured families who live or work on Hilton Head Island or Daufuskie Island. VIM Clinic provides immunizations, physical exams, general medicine, dental care and a wide variety of specialized services (cardiology, chiropractic, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynecology, mental health, neurology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, physical therapy, surgery and urology). Diagnostic tests include x-rays, ultrasounds, pap smears, cancer screenings and a full range of blood tests. VIM Clinic also provides multidisciplinary clinics dedicated to patients with diabetes or high blood pressure. VIM Clinic provides its services by engaging more than 650 volunteer doctors, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, interpreters and others who have a passion for our mission.
