United Way of the Lowcountry helps makes it possible for thousands of children in Beaufort and Jasper counties to wake up Christmas morning to gifts under the tree.
Operation Holiday Heroes — a partnership between United Way, Toys for Tots and area nonprofits — gives children and families the holiday season they deserve through gifts and donations.
Last year, Operation Holiday Heroes provided Christmas gifts and meals to thousands of needy families, including more than 4,500 children. Due to the continued financial impact of the pandemic, this year’s need is expected to be greater than ever before. Many of those families who donated toys to Operation Holiday Heroes in the past, will now need assistance themselves.
Want to Help? In the months leading up to the holidays, you may donate toys by dropping them off at our offices in Beaufort and Bluffton or at one of the many Toys for Tots boxes found throughout Beaufort and Jasper counties. Monetary donations are also accepted. Click here to give.
