POSTPONED – POWER OF THE PURSE

After careful consideration, Power of the Purse, which was scheduled for March 19, 2020, has been postponed due to the coronavirus. Please check back for updated information. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Join us in breaking barriers to education for women and children in our community through United Way of the Lowcountry Women United’s Power of the Purse event. Power of the Purse presented by Beaufort Memorial will take place on March 19, 2020, at Saltus River Grill in Downtown Beaufort beginning at 6:00 pm. The event features heavy hors d’oeuvres, open bar, and a silent auction with designer handbags, trips, golf packages, hunting experiences and much more. There’s even a “Man Cave,” presented by SERVPRO of Beaufort County featuring a special lounge area.

Proceeds from Power of the Purse support Women United’s Breaking Barriers to Education Fund, Operation Backpack, Mimi’s Closets and the Women United Scholarship Fund. Click here to learn more about these Women United initiatives.

Power of the Purse celebrates the efforts of women in our community by honoring the Woman of the Year. Finalists will be recognized at the event and the winner will be announced during the program.
