Please join United Way of the Lowcountry Women United for this year’s Power of the Purse presented by Beaufort Memorial. The event will take place on March 14, 2019 at Dataw Island Clubhouse from 6 – 9 pm. Power of the Purse celebrates the efforts of women in our community by honoring the Woman of the Year. The event also features live music, wine, beer, heavy hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction with designer handbags, jewelry, trips, golf packages and much more. There will even be a “The Man Cave” sponsored by SERVPRO of Beaufort County. Proceeds from the event benefit Women United’s Breaking Barriers to Education Fund and Operation Backpack.
