WELCOME, FUNDED PARTNER AGENCIES!
We’re excited that together we’re working to strengthen the quality of life for our neighbors in Beaufort and Jasper counties.

The partnership between United Way and its funded partners can have powerful marketing and fundraising benefits for all of us. By actively co-branding with United Way, your visible support, and the visible support of your board and staff members, will heighten our community’s awareness and positive perception of United Way of the Lowcountry, and increase the power and reach of our network of local nonprofits.

As part of the United Way of the Lowcountry’s Grantee Memorandum of Agreement, your nonprofit has agreed to follow a set of branding guidelines (click here).

Our Funded Partner Toolkit is your one-stop-shop to assist you in meeting those guidelines. Below you will find co-branding requirements and tips as well as collateral pieces and videos that may be helpful in your marketing efforts.

Funded Partner Co-Branding Guidelines

In general, funded partners can meet the co-branding guidelines in 6 easy steps!

STEP 1 –UNITED WAY PROVIDED SIGNAGE
United Way will provide window clings, at no cost to your organization, for display at the entrance of each of your locations.

STEP 2 – ACKNOWLEDGEMENT IN PROGRAM COLLATERAL
When people see the United Way logo on your materials, it demonstrates how we are working together to address community priorities and shows the reach of our Community Impact fund. Please be sure to include our United Way logo on print & digital materials related to funded programs, including newsletters, brochures or pamphlets.

STEP 3 – PLACE LOGO ON YOUR WEBSITE & SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS
Your website and social media accounts are often the first place people look for information about your organization. Please be sure to place the United Way  logo and appropriate links on your website, e-newsletters  and other social media accounts. You can follow us on Facebook @UnitedWayLowcountry.

STEP 4 – ACKNOWLEDGE FUNDING
Let others know we support you! Please be sure to acknowledge United Way support in all listings of organization and program funders, including your annual report.

STEP 5 – REMEMBER UNITED WAY IN MEDIA
Remember to acknowledge United Way’s support in media related to funded programs. This helps demonstrate how community fund investments and partnerships are making a difference in our community. *Please Note:  United Way of the Lowcountry’s boilerplate is included in this toolkit.

STEP 6 – DON’T FORGET UNITED WAY AT SPECIAL EVENTS
Whether it’s a fundraiser, sporting event or your Annual Meeting, please don’t forget to include United Way in any printed materials created for special occasions.

About United Way of the Lowcountry
Since the 1950s, United Way of the Lowcountry (UWLC) has been working to create a better life for the residents of Beaufort and Jasper counties. UWLC’s focus is on protecting services vital to the immediate basic needs of the most vulnerable members of our community; while making long term investments in education, economic mobility and health, because these are the building blocks for a good quality of life. United Way brings together people and organizations from all across the Lowcountry who bring the passion, expertise and resources needed to get things done. Each year, United Way raises funds through an annual campaign, special events and grants. Just as funds are raised locally, UWLC funds stay local. Learn more about UWLC at www.uwlowcountry.org.
