Cold Weather Shelter

Do you know someone needing a warm place to stay during the expected cold weather?

A Cold Weather Shelter in Northern Beaufort County will open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings beginning January 7, 2017 from 8 pm – 7 am at Sea Island Presbyterian Church (81 Ladys Island Dr, Lady’s Island, SC). Meals will be provided in the evening and in the morning. Snacks and water will also be available.

Pastor John C. Dortch of the Circle of Hope Ministries will provide transportation to the Sea Island Presbyterian Chruch. Pickup points are Walmart in Burton at 5 pm, Staples Parking Lot on Robert Smalls Pkwy at 5:15 pm, the Exxon Service Station on Boundary Street/Hwy 21 at 5:30 pm, the Circle of Hope Ministries Hospitality House at 1816 Boundary Street in Beaufort at 5:45 pm and MLK Park on St. Helena Island at 6:15 pm.
