Free education courses and support groups for individuals with mental illness, and for their families and caregivers, including Family to Family education for families of adults with mental illness; NAMI Basics for families of children and adolescents with mental illness (available also in Spanish); NAMI Homefront for families of active military or veterans with mental illness; and Peer to Peer for individuals with mental illness.  Community outreach programs include free Crisis Intervention Training for law enforcement; free mental health education programs including Parents & Teachers as Allies (for public and private schools);and  In Our Own Voice presentations by people who have experienced mental illness.
