United Way’s SC 2-1-1 Assistance Regarding Hurricane Dorian

BEAUFORT, SC – United Way of the Lowcountry would like to remind the public to contact SC 2-1-1 for information concerning Hurricane Dorian and referrals for non-emergency assistance.  SC 2-1-1 will continue to be operational and take calls during the storm.  Due to the evacuation order, United Way of the Lowcountry’s Helpline, serving Beaufort and Jasper Counties has been turned over to United Way’s SC 2-1-1 until further notice.

Residents will receive the latest information regarding Hurricane Dorian as well as referrals for non-emergency assistance by calling 211 or 1-866-892-9211.  Those with emergencies, should call 911.

United Way of the Lowcountry offices will be closed effective September 2, 2019 until further notice.  However, United Way of the Lowcountry will be responding to community needs through the United Way’s 2-1-1 system.
