A mobile health screening unit that provides free and low cost screening services to anyone 18 and over in the 3 county area of Beaufort, Jasper, and Hampton Counties. Services provided are FREE blood pressure, FREE blood glucose, $10 Lipid Profile (cholesterol) and $10 PSA (Prostate blood test). When the Nurse Practitioner is present we can offer FREE clinical breast exams and skin cancer checks. Practitioner must be requested at time of scheduling. There is no charge to have the CHIP Mobile Wellness Unit at your church or office or event.

LowCountry Habitat for Humanity works with low-income families to provide safe, decent and affordable housing. Families purchase their homes from Habitat with a no-profit, no-interest mortgage set up so that they do not pay more than 30% of monthly household income, including principal and escrow. Prospective homeowners must meet employment and income requirements.
LowCountry Habitat operates a ReStore that not only helps with funding to build houses for families, but, provides affordable, still useful merchandise to the public at discounted prices. This service prevents tons of materials that still have value from going to community landfills.
