WELCOME, COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS!
Thank you
for taking on the role of a Community Champion. We know every community is unique so we’re here to help you create a personalized campaign using the email and letter templates, brochures, videos and social media posts found below.

We’ve also created a fact sheet (click here) that offers helpful steps on how to create a successful neighborhood campaign.

Questions? Please contact Director of Philanthropy Michael Murphy at 843.837.2000, ext. 2006, or Director of Marketing and Communications Wendy Jones at 843.982.3040, ext. 3065.

Letter and Email Templates:

We’ve found that successful neighborhood campaigns send a combination of at least three letters and/or emails. Feel free to personalize the templates below or write your own. Don’t worry – we’ll work with you through the writing process. (Click on the links below to open a letter or email message in a Word file)

Brochures and Flyers:

You have the option of linking electronic
copies of our brochures or flyer in your emails or including a hard copy of a brochure or flyer in one of your
community mailings. (Click on the links below to open each brochure or flyer as a pdf)

Social Media and Posts

Social media is the perfect platform to share that you’re a United Way champion. We’ve created several posts you can share with your family and friends on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Nextdoor. (Click on the link below to open posts in a Word file)

Logo:

Feel free to use our United Way logo and “Live Here. Give Here. Help Here” tag line on your communications.

Videos:

We’ve created a series of brief videos to help tell our story. Below you’ll find our Annual Campaign video as well as personal messages from community members who have received United Way support, dedicated donors, several of our agency partners and a news segment on Women United.
